On April 24, 2012, a resounding change in the Republican Party took place in West Vincent Township. The District 2 committeewoman Missy Bertolami (one of the originators of this website) was re-elected by a large margin against her challenger. Handpicked replacement for Tom Helwig, Michael Schneider was elected to the position of Republican Committeeman.
In District 1, John Jacobs and Maria Jacobs were chosen to represent the Republican Party on the east side of the Township over David Brown (current West Vincent Supervisor and Incumbent Committeeman) and Katharine "Kit" Trolier. Sue Miller decided not to run.
Now District 2 and District 1 will be able to have a co-operative effort to promote the Republican Party in West Vincent and promote West Vincent to the Republican Party. There are several concepts and ideas that the two Districts hope to initiate in order to educate the Republican voter on candidates and current political events. We hope that you will join them in their efforts to drive the Democrat out of office and get our country back on track.
